Runaway Future

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

I am going to be sending out Christmas cards. If anyone wants one, email me or MSN me or something.

Also, I have a free ticket for the first draw of the Roar of the Rings on Thursday, December 8th. The draw is at 830am and Dad can’t make it. I’ll be going and I would love company.

I have nothing planned for tonight and so I’m going to enjoy that.
I don’t have much desire to write or design, although I did set up new categories for the blog. I’m working on getting new blogs to link to. There’s this one blog in particular, that I have come across more then once. I’m pretty sure it’s political commentary but the hook is that it is done in Victorian style. They have these pictures of guys with porkchop sideburns and beards looking like Darwin and Alexander Graham Bell as avatars. The site design reminds me of Arcaneum and is sepia toned. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, pass that along. I’ll send you a christmas card.

I have a lot of reading that I want do and it’s a matter of what to read first. One Maclean’s magazine half done, two copies of the Walrus and a copy of the Coast. Plus I’m halfway through Angels and Demons and I’m really excited to finish that because I have a new Frank McCourt book on my shelf as well as Jarhead, the book and a Terry Fox biography.

Work was very difficult today, but I won’t discuss it. I’ll probably go in tommorrow for some small things to do.

I found this awesome tool to handle MP3 Tags and file names so they work all pretty on my MP3 player. Check it out here. I got a whole whack more of the Spill Canvas, as well as some Johnny Cash, David Gray, the Pixies and the Doves.
