Hey, can I weigh those?
So today in an utterly pointless conversation at work, I was talking with someone about Pamela Anderson and how she must have back problems because of her large chest.
But then from that came the question that because they’re fake, are they less of a strain on the back in comparison to real ones?
Fake breasts are made of saline, which is to say that they are basically a silcone balloon (for lack of a better word) filled with sterile salt water.
Real breasts are made mostly of fatty tissue.
My associate at work suggested we travel Skin…excuse me…Spring Garden Road and ask appropriate specimens if we can conduct tests to compare. I remained skeptical about the number of fake breasts that exist in regular society, although with matching T-Shirts and perhaps gloves and safety goggles, we should look official enough to pull it off.
Where does one find out about these pressing issues?
Do women with fake breasts suffer back pain akin to women with large real breasts? Do fake breasts and real breasts weigh the same?

Give this a read. It may resolve this “pressing issue”.

Not really, the article does talk about the back pain that women with large real breasts undergo as well as talking about breast reductions and how it improves the quality of life. I can understand completely the problems of body image that large breasts must cause. I find that sometimes I catch myself addressessing a chest instead of a face. Chalk it up to immaturity.
However, in this case, I’m more thinking about the comparison between large real breasts and large fake breasts and whether or not the negatives of the large real breasts (as detailed in the article, thanks btw!) are also apparent in the cases of the large fake breasts.
I’m thinking it might not be, simply because the implant wouldn’t be anchored into tissue like the fatty tissue of a real breast is. So when the force of gravity pulls against the implant, the implant doesn’t pull against the rest of the body, instead it merely pushes against the tissue below it.
That’s also assuming that a measured amount of breast tissue weighs the same as a measured amount of saline implant. It would be easy to confirm if it was proven that fake breasts were more likely to sag over the years (ie the tissue stretching and lowering the breast).
It’s interesting that breast augmentations and reductions are two of the most popular plastic surgery procedures out there. The grass is always greener on the other side.
Maybe I shouldn’t call it a pressing issue. How about a *touchy* subject?

I must say that it is very unlikely that any self respecting woman would let you grope her breasts to satisfy your curiosity. If a woman came up to you and said I want to know if black men have bigger dicks than white men would you want to whip yours out?

I can’t be expected to discuss this maturely ALL the time. I got to get my tongue in cheek commentary and sad attempts at wit in there when I can.
