What if the actual afterlife was whatever you believed it to be?
so, if you are atheist and thought that this is the one shot of your life and spirit and that, when your time comes, your remains will be entered in the ground for eternity, then, upon your expiration, you will, for all intents and purposes, cease to be.
but if you believe in heaven, then you will find yourself at the Pearly Gates, up in the clouds with everything white and bright, with angel wings, harps and halos.
or, if you believe in reincarnation, your essence may only be shifting down the hall in the hospital to the maternity ward or outside to a caterpillar egg
or maybe if you lean a bit toward the supernatural, you’ll find your ethereal form hanging around one of your old haunts (pardon the pun)
and so on, for whatever belief you have on the afterlife.
now, with that idea in consideration, imagine you have knowledge that this is indeed the truth, that this is in fact what is at the other end of the tunnel, this is what happens when you go into the light. Imagine you have this knowledge prior to the case of your own untimely demise, so you have the power to pick your life after death before your death itself.
What would you choose to believe in? Why?
How would that decision change how you live your life?
